N54 Neodymium Magnets
N54 neodymium magnets are the neodymium magnet type.
It is the strongest industrial-grade neodymium magnet ever mass-produced. According to Chinese national specifications (BG/T 13560-2017, Sintered Neodymium Iron Boron Permanent Magnets), N54 has the highest maximal energy output ((BH)max) 51 to 55 MGOe and Br 1.45 to 14.5 kg.

Advantages Of N54 Neodymium Magnets
Although N54 neodymium magnets are not as widely used as N52 neodymium magnets, the primary reason for their widespread use is that they have two significant advantages: great strength and toughness.
Big Strength
N54 has strong Br and BH numbers in the N classes, indicating high magnetic strength and power.
High Hardness
N54, like N52, has more excellent toughness and is more accessible to machines. Because of this property, N54 and N52 are the primary manufacturing elements for micromagnetism.

Disadvantages Of N54 Neodymium Magnets
The N54 has a significant disadvantage that stops it from being more widely used than the N52.
Easy Demagnetize
It has a lesser coercivity than other N-series items. This also makes it simpler to demagnetize. When used on magnetic components, their service life is shorter than other goods. As a result, that is not a viable option for the Halbach array.
Lower Working Temperature
At the same time, N54 has a poor temperature tolerance, around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It is 80 degrees Fahrenheit in other N-series grades.
N54 Magnets Are Expensive
N54 receives Nd instead of PrNd to boost the Br. As you may be aware, Nd is more costly than PrNd. As a result, N54 is more expensive than N52.
N54 Neodymium Magnets Purchase Guide
More excellent energy product material is usually sturdier than lower energy, but other considerations must be considered.
